Vintage clothing can sometimes bring with it a negative connotation. Images of bargain bins with moth-eaten tweed and odd-smelling navy blazers can come to mind. However, this is not what you should imagine with J and HP. They not only find quality pieces of vintage clothing, they also impeccably tailor and modify each item in a way that make them down right dapper.

J and HP is owned and operated by married couple, Jonathan and Holly Powell. Not only are they devoted to each other, but through J and HP, they have shown a true dedication to creating uncommon garments for both men and women.

The store’s modified vintage collection for men include expertly tailored, classic pieces that have been given a “J and HP twist.” This might be a colorful felt collar lining, or perhaps a contrasting set of elbow patches on a sport coat. Their clothing and shoes are all reasonably priced, which is unexpected given the tailored aspect.

Besides their modified vintage collection, J and HP also offer their American made collection called Made By. These pieces tend to be handcrafted and sewn fashion-forward garments like their 5 pocket denim jacket and a laundered gingham shirt.
