Best Nashville Patios
Now that it’s officially spring, one of the things we look forward to the most is a chance to enjoy the outdoors on a patio with a cold beverage and friends. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a few of our favorite patios in Nashville to visit as the sun stays out longer and the days become warmer.
12 South Taproom
A neighborhood favorite where even first time visitors feel like they fit right in. The patio offers a lively atmosphere and their extensive beer selection is one the best in town.
Jackson’s Bar and Bistro
Right in the heart of Hillsboro Village, Jackson’s easily pulls a big crowd. Its 21st Ave location makes it an ideal place to do some people watching. We especially like to make Sunday visits for their half-priced bottles of wine.

Located next to Belmont University’s campus, this patio can get crowded quickly once spring arrives. But with food from Bravo’s Top Chef contestant, Arnold Myint, it’s not hard to see why the crowds come. Even though the restaurant serves many Asian inspired dishes, it has one of the best burgers in Nashville.
Rosepepper Cantina
With a large patio and ample seating, Rosepepper Cantina is one of the best places to enjoy a margarita in Nashville. The eclectic atmosphere and Sonora-style Mexican food make it our pick for an East Nashville option.
The Local Taco
You have two locations to choose from, but our favorite is the original, laidback spot in Sylvan Park. Here, the patio is a priority, not an afterthought, with more than half of their seating outside. Look for special warm weather events (like Cinco de Mayo) where they expand their outdoor area to take over the parking lot.
Village Pub & Beer Garden
Serving pints of favorite microbrews and their signature hot pretzels, it’s a good place to watch a game or hear a live band. The wrap-around porch automatically puts this on our list.
Whiskey Kitchen
Always crowded at night, Whiskey Kitchen usually has tables available on their shaded patio in the middle of the afternoon – the best time to come for a casual drink with friends. As the weather warms up, enjoy what they do best: whiskey cocktails.
